Casting
Molten pewter is poured into preheated moulds by using a ladle. When
the pewter is cooled, set, the mould is opened and the pewter casting
is removed.

Quality
Control
Each finished product has to undergo a strict quality check before
it is wrapped and packed. |

Hand wash a satin finish pewter
in warm soapy water or mild detergent is all that is normally required.
The use of a dish washer is not be recommended because of the very
high water temperature and usually rather strong detergents. After
washing, toweled dry the pewter with a soft cloth and when completely
dry, given a gentle polish with a soft duster. |

Brilliant or highly polished
finish pewter can be cleaned by using good brand of silver polish.

Do not use abrasive or caustic
chemicals to polish the pewter. |

Wax on the candlestick can be
removed under hot running water. |

Wine and fruit juices should
not be left in pewter longer than necessary. |

Do not expose pewter to direct flame or
cook in pewter.

Clean your pewter more frequently to assume
its bright attractive appearance if you live by the sea as atmospheric
salt will dull its lustre. |
